I’m sharing my second page I completed yesterday! This time using Simple Stories “Bloom & Grow” collection. Great papers and embellishments for photos of Mathieu mowing the lawn! Isn’t this gnome the cutest??
I decided to add some yellow rhinestones to the sun to give the page a bit more dimension.Again, I followed a sketch from Stuck?! Sketches. You can check it out by clicking here. Also, make sure that you take a look at all the inspiration from the design team. There’s a lot of talent over there!!
I’m looking forward to this weekend. Maybe I’ll even get a chance to do a little more scrapbooking!
Have a great weekend everyone!
It’s cold and rainy here today so a perfect day to do some scrapbooking!
I bought a whole bunch of new papers recently and really wanted to use them. So, I decided to start with my Simple Stories “Hello Fall” collection to scrapbook a page of the day Mabel came home.
I love the colours in this collection and they worked well with my photos.
I followed a sketch I found over at Stuck?! Sketches. You can see the sketch by clicking here.I can’t believe she’s going to be 1 year old soon!
So off to do some more scrapbooking! I’m on a roll now!! Hope you’re doing something creative today too!
I FINALLY received the last of my orders!! Yay!
I love LOve LOVE this collection by Simple Stories!
I had put the chipboard shapes, the enamel dots and the paper collection in my cart at Scrapbook.com but then sat on it for a few days. By the time I went to go and pay for my items, the collection was SOLD OUT! So I went ahead and bought the chipboard and dots anyways, and the very next day I received an email that the collection was back in stock!! I ordered and paid for it right away that time! You have to act fast when Simple Stories comes out with a great collection!
I can’t wait to dig in!!
Hopefully this weekend!
I had the chance to get some scrapbooking done today! Well, one page anyway! LOL!!
I used my new Gather Together collection by Simple Stories. The papers and embellishments are actually “Thanksgiving” themed but worked perfectly for my pictures of the gourmet burgers Marc and Mathieu made this past summer. The orange letters are from an old Bella Blvd. collection. I didn’t have a lot of letters left so I had to get creative. I used a letter “C” for my “u”, the number “3” for my “e” and I trimmed a “J” so I could have a “t”. The neat wooden chevrons are from Creative Embellishments.
I’m hoping to get more scrapbooking done soon! I have so many more collections I haven’t even opened yet!
Well, this package arrived last week and now I only have 1 more to come (for now). LOL!!
I finally received one of my Scrapbook.com orders!
Echo Park’s “I Love Family” collection and co-ordinating solids and Lawn Fawn’s “Perfectly Plaid”. I’m absolutely in love with the colours!!
Nothing like some new papers to make a girl want to sit down and do some scrapbooking!
Just waiting now on my other 2 orders!!😀
This past weekend I got together with a few of my scrappy friends and was able to complete a couple of layouts.
The first layout is based on the September 15th sketch over at Stuck?! Sketches.I used some Christmas papers from Basic Grey. They worked perfectly for my Easter Cake page!!
I also pulled out my Epiphany Crafts tools and created a few epoxy embellishments including this custom brad.
And I finally got “Mathieu and Connor Day” from 2015 scrapbooked!I used October Afternoon papers for this layout.
I even used one of my new flair I got recently from Accent Scrapbooking.
It really has been a long time since I scrapbooked so I’m thrilled I’ve been able to get a few pages done recently!
I’m waiting on a few orders to come in from Scrapbook.com and when they do, I know I’ll be scrapbooking a ton more!
