Paper Issues sketch challenge…

Hi there!

I thought I would share with you another of my layouts I completed on the weekend.  For this layout, I followed a sketch over at Paper Issues {Friends & Fans}.dscn3841 I used the Simple Stories “Bloom & Grow” collection.  A sweet collection for a sweet photo of our puppy!

dscn3856I used an Epiphany Crafts epoxy (Round 14)  to add dimension to the centre of one of my cut out flowers.

dscn3857I also popped up a few of the smaller flowers and added some “Hello Fall” enamel dots to the centres.dscn3858The word stickers worked perfectly for my journalling.

So, if you’re looking for a TON of inspiration, why don’t you join the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} Facebook pageThey would love to have you!

Happy scrapping!

Another layout…

Hello everyone!

Today I’m sharing another one of my layouts I completed on the weekend.

I used the Simple Stories “Hello Fall” collection for this layout of my husband.  I really LOVE the cute little fox!!! 😉

The picture of my husband isn’t the best because of the backlight, but I really liked it and wanted to scrapbook it.

dscn3853Thanks for having a look!

Now I’m off to get some groceries done.

I still have a couple more layouts to share.  I’ll post those in the next few days!

A sketch and a challenge…

So, I  managed to get some scrapbooking done yesterday.  I actually completed 4 pages!! But I had a lot of inspiration to help me along!

For my first layout, I combined a challenge over at the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} Facebook page with a sketch challenge over at Stuck?! Sketches.

I used my new Simple Stories collection, “Classic Christmas”.  I love the earthy colours and patterns.

I also took out my Epiphany Crafts Round 25 tool and made a couple custom embellishments.

If you don’t belong yet to the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} Facebook page or don’t follow the Stuck?! Sketches blog, I would recommend them!  Both are such GREAT places to find inspiration!

I’ll share my other layouts over the next few days!

Happy scrapping!

Paper Issues challenge…

Hi everyone.

I participated in a challenge over at Paper Issues Friends & Fans.

The challenge was to create a pet page using at least 3 different fonts in your title.

Here’s what I came up with:dscn3694I used my Simple Stories “Hello Fall” collection again.  I just love the colours in it!dscn3696dscn3697For my title I used letters from American Crafts, Bella Blvd. and Simple Stories.  I used all black letters to keep my title somewhat cohesive.dscn3698So head on over to the Paper Issues Friends & Fans page and asked to be added to the group.  There are always a TON of challenges and chances to win gift certificates to the store!

What are you waiting for? 😉

Happy scrapping!

I decided to add some yellow rhinestones to the sun to give the page a bit more dimension.dscn3653Again, I followed a sketch from Stuck?! Sketches.  You can check it out by clicking here.  Also, make sure that you take a look at all the inspiration from the design team.  There’s a lot of talent over there!!
